Recently I had the fantastic opportunity to speak, alongside my two friends and fellow ECA Graphic Design Alumni, Columba and Orla, to over 250 creatives at Gab, a creative event series in Glasgow run by the design agency Jamhot.
Our talk discussed how being a designer takes more than just producing good design work and the importance of soft skills. We also used our time on stage to share what it’s like stepping into the industry as recent graduates.
Gab really pushed us out of our comfort zone, but we have each realised a love for public speaking, and would love to speak at more events in future.
